Collection: Collaroy Beach
Collaroy Beach in Sydney was named after a ship, the S.S. Collaroy, ran aground and was stranded for almost four years. To the south, classic ocean baths wrap around the headland linking it to The Basin (Fishermans Beach). This beach, characterised by a row of small boats hauled up on the sand, is sheltered by Long Reef headland.
