Printing On Canvas

Canson Infinity Artists canvas is a 390 gsm premium grade, acid-free, canvas with no optical brightening agents. Canson has submitted their canvas to the world's leading independent print permanence testing laboratory, Wilhelm Imaging Research (WIR) for longevity testing. Canson Infinity Digital Fine Art papers and canvases have passed all five WIR print permanence tests in all conditions:

We print our canvas art with the highest quality printers on the market by Epson. The Epson Pro 11880 is the largest printer available on the market for printing archival canvas and fine art works, capable of printing up to 64" wide at 2880dpi. Using the highest quality inks on the market, Epson UltraChrome K3 with Vivid Magenta we can ensure vibrant full colour prints that have a life span of 75 years when displayed indoors.

Coating

The canvases have a special polymer coating that is not only very durable but also enhances the colour and depth of the artworks. This coating is virtually indestructible, if you manage to dent it, simply leave it in the sun for half an hour and it will restrech itself. If you get grubby finger marks on it or bugs leave residue on it simply wipe it with a lightly damp cloth using mild detergent.

Canvas Framing (Canvas Stretching)

The canvas is framed by hand onsite.  The frames (known as stretcher bars) are top quality, made in Australia.  We will not compromise here because cheaper frames will leach acid, warp and twist over time!
